Southwest Triangle Capped Prehnite Silver Necklace
A beautiful faceted nugget of mossy green Prehnite is capped with hand stamped silver. Pendant hangs on a luxurious sterling silver bar chain. Understated luxury. Chain measures 17-18” with lobster clap and adjustable length chain closure. Sterling silver.
I support Navajo stamp makers by purchasing their traditionally made metal stamps to create my southwestern themed designs.
About Prehnite: A Dutch colonel, H. Von Prehn, is credited with discovering Prehnite in 1774 at the Cape of Good Hope in Africa. Early traders nicknamed the gemstone Cape Emerald in hopes of exploiting its green color. Prehnite is known for it’s bright, almost luminescent, pale green color (reminiscent of jade), mesmerizing clarity, and striking luster. Prehnite is said to be the stone of remembered dreams.
